Amy's Creative Side scrap quilt

Worked on the quilt blocks from Amy's Creative Side

I am doing these in calicos, using the scraps left from

several projects made with these 20 different calicos!

I may also make this quilt in batiks!

anyone else doing these blocks??

Words to live by!

Quilting shouldn't be Work!
there are jobs for that!

start fresh every morning,clean,oiled and with a fresh needle!

If I sew a seam wrong two times in a row it's time to quit for the day!

Work on a UFO at least 15 minutes a day- soon it won't be a UFO!

There are no ugly quilts- Someone loves every one of them!

well was up early and into the scrap box

then I started sewing and made some

All from my scrap box !

It's going to be hot today so got the cutting done early so I can sit at the machine and sew!

well I have taken the plunge!

have been thinking of starting a blog for some time and no time like the present!

I have been very busy this week sewing blocks and cutting kits!

I love these snail's trail block and will be making a scrappy version tomorrow.
